swallow tail repair

Postby carlosbaron » Wed Sep 19, 2007 10:47 am

Hi my name is carlos and i am surfing out of southern california. ive been riding my girlfriend's dad's board which is a mid 70's South Shore swallow tail and i recently broke the thirty year old rope leash while surfing sending the board crashing on the rocky shore and breaking the tip of one of the prongs on the tail exposing some foam. i was wondering if anyone could recommend a shop thats good with repairs like this and a ball park estimate of what it would cost.

appreciated
take it easy, carlos

SoCal is a big place. I had a similar board, with more repairs completed, including rail repairs for about $50 at a small surf shop in huntington beach.
Let us know where in So Cal you are as then the people familiar with your area can help you out.
