Surfing Waves

I am considering painting my blank before laminating but does anyone know which paint works best? I just want a all black board that I will be lettering. Should I use tint or paint? And should I put vinyl lettering straight on top of the paint?

Any water based acylic paint should be fine. However i would be wary of spraying your board all black. It will get very hot in the sun and in the long term this could well have a detrimental effect on your epoxy resin.
