My husband is dreaming of the psycho 2 3/2 for Christmas (we live in Santa Barbara). What's difference between the 2006 and the 2007 model? Does it matter if I get him the 2006 because it is cheaper? Thanks for your help. I'm in crisis in this unknown territory to a surfer's wife.

I have not checked them out but there is usually very littel difference from one year to another.

I don't know the difference between the two models, but I'd suspect very little. However, I've been using my 2004 Psycho II for the past 3 and a half year, and it has been great. Haven't surf in Santa Barbara yet, but I thought it's much colder than the water here in Newport Beach, CA. I don't know if a 3/2 would suffice. Have you check out the O'neill Mutant? It's nice because of the removable hood. Good luck! Sounds like your husband's going to have a nice Christmas.
