Beginner surfer but....

Postby SomeDJ » Sun Dec 09, 2007 9:59 am

So I'm learning to surf and haven't bought anything yet but am looking into a nice longboard to keep practicing and working up my skill/experience but I've come across what I think to be one helluva deal. It's a 6'8" DHD shortboard and includes fins, bag, leash and roof racks for the car. No damage. It's a moving out of the country sale. I'm about 5'6"-5'8" and 200lbs. Would this be something I could ride in the future when I'm more skilled? All advice and suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Cheers.

6'8 - 7'0 is around for people 190 - 210 I think. If it is a hell of a deal go buy it! Surfing goods are timeless value. You could still sell them later for 85% of the price if you don't want them.
