Shortboard advice.

Postby badger101 » Tue Nov 13, 2007 6:09 pm

Looking at downgrading to shortboarding after a year of longboarding.

Been looking around for a while now but still unsure!

Im 6ft tall, 12stone.

So any advice about what i should look for etc would be great!
for english waves only...

Thanks!

I have a 6'8x21x2.5 shortboard...nice and easy to paddle and quick and turns well too. I'm 6'2 and 12 stone almost the same as you. Takes a bit of getting used to at first, but stick with it and you'll be fine.

I received an email today about a guy selling his Fish.
Dimmensions are as follows.
6'4 x 20 x 2 1/2

I've heard they are pretty good as a step down from l'boarding....
any advice on this would be great?

Try something like this beast. They are thicker and would be better in UK waters as well.
