epoxy and traditional repairs

I know you can't use ordinary sun cure on epoxy boards for repairs, but can you use the one for epoxy boards on traditional polyester fibreglass boards??

The reason you can't use the poly stuff on epoxy is because sometimes the foam used will melt when it hits polyester resin. Like EPS. The bond with the epoxy and the polyester won't be perfect and flex pattern and stuff is different....but shouldn't be too bad. I would still go buy a little tube of suncure for poly, its like 3 bucks.

If you get an epoxy stick its fine on poly boards, no probs at all.
