basecoats?

Postby Quiksilver54 » Mon May 21, 2007 11:18 pm

ok so im surfing in tropical waters ussually and i ussually rub on basecoat and then tropical wax because thats what websites say but is the basecoat really needed? and i ussually rough it up with a comb and hop back in the water so like every other day i re-apply wax and i was wondering is it really necessary to put on the basecoat under the other wax?

Basecoat is pretty much tropical or warm water wax, so you can just put your normal wax on.
