Nice people at Tiki

Postby Real Pol » Sun Jan 28, 2007 7:03 pm

A couple of weeks ago the the zip pull rubber tag thing split and came off my tiki wetsuit. It was a bit embarrasing as I had to ask a passing old man to help me out of the suit. I don't know what he thought when he was approached by a bloke head to foot in black rubber, with blue lips who asked him to help him get undressed!

Anyway, I was using a shoe lace as a replacement but it kept flapping in my face so I sent the split one to Tiki in Devon and told them that it had split on a wetsuit which was less than a season old and they sent me a new one back within a couple of days.

I thought that was nice of them and worth a mention on this forum.

Bluesnowcone, we deal with Salomon at work, not for surf gear but for their outdoor clothing and footwear, they've always been fine about exchanging stuff, it just takes a little bit longer because as you say, they are in France. Never had a problem with them tho.
