Soft racks are universal and will let watter in if it rains and can scratch your roof.

The best way to stop that potential scratching is to wrap the padds and strapping in a towl or somthing none abrasive so when its shifting and vibrating it doesn't scratch the paintwork.

Unfortunatloy there are no remides to the water prob when it rains. You better off investing in a hard rack. Takes the same time to take on/off as a sorf rack once you get into a routein. Plus you can use it for more than just surfing.
