Boardwax all over...

Postby Kiwistarista » Thu Feb 16, 2006 9:49 am

Hey Guys,
Im currently exploring NZ and OZI and so I picked up surfing! Well I try :D
And it's the best sport I've ever done so far even better then snowboarding... anyway
I got a certain problem, and I'd like to know if I'm the only one...

I'm riding a 6'10 Board and got it waxed from the bottom up to where about my breast lies on, when paddling...
But after every session I got the wax all over my Boardies... It's not like the worst problem ever, but just would like 2 know, if I have to coop with it, and simply use certain boardies jst to board :D, or wether u guys have a special tip.

Freddy

PS: What's the easiest way to get rid of warmwaterwax on your boardies?

Sad fact of life Im afraid....Advice...dont wear your brand new $100 boardies mum gave you for christmas at least for a while.
Luckily a simple wash on hot water cycle will clean them up.

Hey, at least it shows you actually surf, and don't just have them for fashion.

Hey I think I have a solution to your problem. Wear some nice speedos under your boardies (yellow or purple; or yellow and purple) the brighter the better. Take your boardies off before you get into the water and surf in the speedos....not only will you look cool, but your girlfriend will be able to spot you a mile off :D
