Surfboard Bag -HELP

Postby Laguna » Sun Feb 05, 2006 8:30 pm

I know this comes up a lot but I need a board bag for my 6'10 funboard - ive been to cheap to buy one due to ridiculous prices and havent seen any good ones. So does anybody know anywhere on the net?

I have found this and am really thinking of buying it. Its a 10mm bulldog bag that is £50. Is this too much padding? I think its ideal really cant think of anything wrong with it. Is a 7 foot bag ok for a 6'10 board? I think it should be ok.

It's no problem getting a bag that is a little longer than your board. Gives you a bit of room for your towel & wettie, or extra padding for the long haul trip. A 10mm bag is not over the top - think about that extra protection. I think it is probably necessary for piece of mind if you are taking your board on a plane.
50 quid is about the price for a 10mm boardbag, you cannot get them a lot cheaper. Expect to get a 5mm for around 35 quid upwards.

Of course you will be supporting Surfing Waves by getting it here if you decide the bulldog is the one you want.
