Deck Pads

Postby MutleyDog » Mon Dec 05, 2005 11:17 am

Anyone know the best way to remove deck pad glue? (the pad has come away) The glue remaining on the deck has has a small string mesh in it.

I'm presuming some sort of solvent but what is safe to use?

Many Thanks

You could use acetone. If you don't want to inhale sinus melting solvents then you could just sand it off.

I have used nail polish remover, not quite as strong as straight acetone, but gets the job done. a little bit gentler i think.
