Further to my 'i snapped the foamie' post
I need to get a new foamie that the kids can both use (12 and
both are in the early stages but can stand on the old 5'6 37litre we had just about so I think more size and volume may be required. However, ideally I am looking at something I can muck about on too.I usually ride a longboard so the above would fit more into my ideal of trying something smaller and agile. However, I am not sure of a board that would hit the sweet spot of volume and stable for kids learning and fun for me.
For example the softech bomber 6'6 looks good but maybe doesn't fit the bill for me, but likely something like the shorter performance softechs wouldn't suit them.
The answer may be not to seek compromise, which is fair enough
