Advice on this ding

Postby Grizzlyadams » Mon Jun 08, 2020 10:59 am

Hey guys what do you reckon about these dings. Looking at buying a secondhand torq board, but it has these 2 dings should I be worried about it no longer being watertight? Haven't seen it in person but I'm keen on it being ok. The guy mentions the dings but nothing more about it being or needed repairs.
Thanks :)

Sadly the pictures don‘tshow enough detail to see if the underlying glass cloth, it could only be a chipping of the paint job, there looks to be some weave showing, but appropriate epoxy solar resin could be the fix .

The tail picture shows what might be crsplits along the area wher it is very likely to leak.
Major question how long have they been that way? The longer it‘s been the more like you already have water in the board!
Next question, how capable would you be to make the repair?

If so bargain down! if you need a professional fix , look at other boards! :D
