where can I get bigger fin for standard FCS plugs

like putting lipstick on a pig, but would like to see if I can improve the handling of my Bic Mini-Mal with a bigger center fin.
After getting the 8'6" Torq longboard, I am now keen to experiment with different fin sizes on the other boards.

Not a lot of joy for you getting larger centre fins for the FCS two plug centre fin system on the BIC. If it wasn’t a BIC I would advise against putting a larger fin into plugs the lateral forces could rip them out. You could try going to the spare fin bin at your local, surf shop and cutband file the bottom of a longboard centre fin into two -tabs to fit the plugs.

My solution buy the long board fin select a suitable longboard and offer the BIC to some poor soul!

To get good idea of the dynamics of fins surf your Torq with different combos single double 2+ 1 etc.
Take the variable of board out of the experiment.

I surf my NSP 8'6 with single fin because I'm too lazy to setup 2+1. I remove the fin after every surf session. What should I feel differently when I put the 2+1 setup back? I could just try surf with 2+1 next time but we haven't had much luck with the swell. Well swell at the right timing. The best swell of this year unfortunately lands right around my marriage!

Here you go. Looks to be a M. Dolsey brand fin.

So your intention is to make a single fin out of a thruster setup ? Or a quasi-2+1 set up ?

Thanks for suggestion.

I have some smaller FCS fins from my beater, not quite side-bites but more of a retro-style, so I wanted to put those on the sides and something bigger in the center, just for kicks.

If you have problems getting your back foot further back on the pad, and even put out PSA warning others on getting a Carver to deal with that, WHY would you want to further increase the pivot point / sweet spot away from center ?

Putting a big fin in place of a center thruster fin is going to make things even worse if you can’t step back properly.

I really don't have that problem anymore, but it wasn't the surf skateboard that helped me fix it either :D

Congrats on your marriage!

You aren't adding side bites in addition to your usual single fin, are you? To me, 2+1 is a bit more forgiving like slightly more stable and a bit more nimble than single, but it lacks the glide and the hold. But I dunno, it might be all in my head. Placebo effect??? :?
