Difference between NSP E+ vs HDT?

Postby BaNZ » Tue Jul 31, 2018 5:34 pm

https://www.surftech.com/surf/nsp-e-longboard
https://www.surftech.com/surf/nsp-eleme ... -longboard

I'm looking at these two and I noticed the E+ is a little bit more expensive. Both claims to be very durable for and good for surf schools. Here is a bit of information on how they are made. https://www.nspsurfboards.com/technologies/

I can't tell the difference apart from the price. I would go for the cheaper one unless someone has actually research into which one is better?

I emailed their customer support.

The difference between the E+ and the HDT is that the E+ has a ballistic topsheet on the deck of the surfboard that strengthens it and prevents major pressure dings. The E+ is slightly heavier than the HDT, but that is just because of the topsheet.

The HDT is the same construction as the E+, just without the topsheet on the deck.

Not sure if this is a PUN. But I ordered the HDT as I'm not expecting any pressure dings from NSP boards! Actually, mainly because the HDT board is yellow and therefore is better 8)

Wait a moment! Is the earth off axis? Is BaNZ gonna buy something other than an 8 ft Torque board? My weak mind can't bear the change in natural law! All kidding aside, BaNZ, I hope you'll drag me out to sea for a wave or two whether it is at Mondos or San O.
