Can anyone help me identify this board?

Postby SamG » Sun Dec 03, 2017 10:28 am

Sorry for the vague title, I've had this board from a family member for about 10 years and it's literally been used twice EVER.

It know it was picked up from a store in Cornwall (UK) where I'm led to believe it was custom made.

I literally know nothing about it but as I live a very long way away from the Sea I'm looking to sell it ASAP as it would be much more better appreciated by someone who can use it regularly .

What I really want to know is what kind of board is it (Longboard nose rider?) and very rough value if possible. I'd estimate it's about 8 - 9ft.

The closest I've found to the board is http://escapesurfboards.com/nose-riders ... iders.html

Clean off the wax as a courtesy to potential buyers, halve the price you see for the new one and then subtract a little more. Any dings subtract a little more measure the board the length of the bottom nose to tail!
It is a longboard and similar to the link board.
Nothing special basically what you can get!
Check out similar boards on your selling sites and use that as guide. :D

You should measure how wide it is too. Perhaps it is just window 10 messed up my display so much it looks wide but in the current settings I am using it looks like it might be a stand up paddle board LOL so if it is like 30 something inches wide a different set of surfers will be interested or maybe it is just my display settings
So what is worse.... dying or regretting it for the rest of my life? Obviously I chose not regretting it.

There’s certain tell tale signs on the board that lead me to believe it’s made in China. Look on the bottom by the wood stringer. What name is written there also along with the dimensions?

What you don’t know SamG is that a custom board is only a custom board once in its life, when it was made specifically for the first owner , with some variation requested.. since you say that you need to know it won’t enhance the price as the board is pretty much bog standard.

Chinese Factory made most likely , sorry it ain’t no treasure trove!
