Couple of weeks ago I rented a 7'6. I think it was a NSP funboard. I really had a lot of fun and I should've taken a photo of it. I'm thinking of buying one. The board felt very different to other epoxy boards that I've ridden in the past. When I popup on the board, I can feel the board compresses and that it had a springy feel. My hands actually dips in a little when I pop up. At first I thought this isn't good, I'm going to break the board but turns out it is a lot stronger than I thought.
I looked up the material so this is the description "When you want a no-nonsense board that won’t break the bank and that is stronger than many other constructions, look no further than the NSP Elements range. EPS Securecell at the core with a durable yet supremely lightweight vacuum molded Epoxy Fibre sandwich shell,"
Is EPS the reason why the board felt like it was being compressed and springy?
