Molded epoxy boards like that NSP don't have a stringer. Although some might have a thin wood layer under the deck's fiber cloth layer.

That particular advice was for filling a ding that doesn't requiring any cloth. Couldn't do much about the crease on that board. On this current OP's board, I would say it's going to need a band of laminated fiberglass cloth, but maybe not a full wrap.
