Long board on a sedan?

I don't use racks much but when I do it is nose forward fin up just because I figure the wider nose of the longboard will generate more downforce at speed and actually stick the board tighter to the car. I could be wrong; anycase not much speed to be had on roads here so it is relatively moot in my case anyway.

If there is sufficient tail rocker then that might be enough to keep the board from generating lift
So what is worse.... dying or regretting it for the rest of my life? Obviously I chose not regretting it.

I think it doesn't really matter if it's nose or tail forward, as long as it's with the fins up. The board should be kept in place by the straps anyway, not the wind. I can imagine however that if you put it with the fins DOWN (assuming the fins don't hit the roof) the rocker of the board can cause some sort of lift.

I use a BIC 7'6 mini noserider (sort of longboard shape) on a BMW 3 E90 (2010) sedan with a roof rack. It's the original rack so I figured it would be safe enough. Oh and I always have it nose forward, fins down. I did 150 km/h at some point without problems, but usually I drive a bit slower (like 120-130 km/h)
