Easiest Way To Repair This Ding?

Hey I bought this board yesterday and it's heaps fun but took the tape off and saw a massive ding, don't really mind since i got it for really cheap and only using it till I can afford a new board which will be a couple months, just wondering what would be the easiest solution to repair this just so I can use it?

The easiest thing is probably to take it to someone else to repair it.

Ouch! If I were you and I only need the board to last for a couple of month with the least amount of $ and effort, I'd tape it up with Gorilla Tape instead of what's on. Better holding power than the usual Duck Tape. And I'd really be hoping that I'd have enough money for another board in better shape very, very soon. Good luck.

Use a ding repair putty ( there's so many brands ) or if no surf shops near you, go to hardware supply and get plumbers putty.
1) Remove any fiberglass thats moving or flapping around.
2) Knead the putty till it's uniform in color.
3) Wet a finger and shove the putty into the crack(s) and leave a lip.( If you do it nice and smooth you won't even need to sand. )
Basically put a bumper around the whole swallow tail. ( and i don't recommend beginners get swallow tails because the tips always break off.) Another thing you might check is the length of the leash rope. It may be the cause of the damage in the first place.
