Which leash???

Postby Mohawk918 » Mon Apr 11, 2016 3:42 pm

so there are so many leashes on the market. On my log I have a standard one from Aqua East and its ok. I need a new one for my new 7'6 board. since there are so many and I'm needing to order it soon what are yalls favorite and top picks for leashes? I heard FCS is not good and they break a lot and the swivels go out.

I would also steer you away from FCS, mine didn't break per se but I did have issues w/ the velcro strap. It completely came apart at the quick release section, not a deal breaker but I don't like the fact that it had issues in less than a year of use. Any of the others name brands will do the trick(haven't had any issues with any other leashes I've used(XM, Dakine etc)). Being a 7'6, I'd also recommend an 8ft leash over a 7ft(like BigH stated on your other thread), but it really doesn't make that much of a difference either way. Used a 6ft leash on my 6'10 and now use a 7ft and there isn't a noticeable difference.

Mohawk,
I like Dakine leashes because they are very well made.
