I hate to say it but if you're asking the question you don't belong in Padang2 or Ulu when it's that size....when it's firing that's when the pros come out and it is pretty critical out there.....not a practice wave for sure on big days. Your board will be fine for Bingin which is a good barrel and one that is hollow when it's relatively average....don't worry, you'll have plenty of chances at hollow waves but when you see 12ft padang2 or ulu in person you'll understand what I mean.....I remember you said something about wanting a board with a wider nose for stability not too long ago......if that's true forget the step up. Welcome to Bali....the season is right around the corner and the waves while competitive now are about to turn crazy.....I would recommend getting a board with as much volume as you can so that you can win paddle battles and actually win waves because soon it will be to that point here.....don't worry too much about big waves; your board should be able to handle just about anything you can. Have fun!

Thx for comment. Sure i wasnt looking to surf ulu or pedang 12ft.. but just to find exactly a paddle/win/good barrel board for the 6to 8ft range.. so it seems my 5.11 can do that job.. if i get alot more volume it feels to hard to duckdive and cant control the board that good...thx for info brotha!

Above 6 ft any Bali barrel is going to be both a challenge and one of most rewarding waves you will ever ride!
A Jaffa comment , get your full surf skill levels up and the barrels will begin to find you? Get your skills up further and you will make it out of some!
Big mush and big barrels are another league altogether
