if your doind it to an already made board its not so easy you have to sand of the top coat of varnish? fiberglass ? ( im sure brent or gulfsurfer wil be here to correct me soon enough) do your magic then relace the coat of wahtever youve sanded down from the top ...

spraysw are on the foam, then glassed over. K mac is right though, youdo got to rough up your deck some with like 150 grit (it's just fiberglass resin) and then do whatever, it would probally look better though if you just painted the whole board white first and then sand it over, and spray over that and then put a clear coat over, which would look the best especally if you allready have stuff under the glass.

If you don't, you could try poscas, you could try spray paint, whatever. But when you do it use acrylics, and make sure you spray clear coat over when you're done.
