Postby alexferro » Sat Feb 06, 2016 2:11 pm

hi brothers

i'm doing home made eco wax and i need some advice about it. I use beewax, pine resin, marble powder and coconut oil.
according on what grade of hardness i chage the ratio of resin and oil.

the wax works good, nice bumpers, sticky..but after about 30 min in the water (tropical water) the wax isn't sticky anymore.

the wax is sticky oly when is heated..and became solid with the water temperature, anyone has some advice.
i'm happy to share my result.

all the best alessandro

alessandro,
please look here for several recipes:

The ratios provided in these recipes may help you. I think you should not include pine resin in your recipe. Pine resin is used in wax for cold water.
