Im kind of in a bind cause the guy that repairs my board is not around for a while. Is this something I can fix with fiberglass cloth and resin? I watched some videos on youtube but a bit different then whats happened here. Lesson learned...if my fin screws wernt so tight i would have just lost the fin...

So you figure this has to be done professionally?

That's like an 800 dollar board and you want to try to do your first repair DIY with instructions from the internet for something pretty involved including adjusting the angle of the fin (that box won't fit back into the socket hand in glove...there is some play there and if you get the angle wrong then the board is going to be like an old car and pulling to one side)....you have fiberglass but will probably have to take the area down, lay on the glass, then the resin (am I right here? I've never done it because I have a "guy" and delicate hand done repairs so that the bottom contours, overall board weight and sanding down/finishing so that you can hardly tell there was an issue is WAY over my head).

Should I continue? That's what I meant about the solarrez....it isn't a simple ding repair...it's pretty involved and you have a nice board....I'd get it done professionally.

You mean with Fiberglass cloth, resin AND CATALYST. How many repairs have you done using Catalyst ?
