Do I need to repair this?

Hey,

This is my first board and im very new to the surfing world. I took the board out for the first time with a friend. She got dumped and her long board came right down and hit my board near the top. There is a ding with multiple cracks and I'm in sure whether I need to repair it, or will it be fine? There is also another ding but that has no cracks.
Thank youu :)

Yes Yes and yes, the damage is on the stringer the most succulent part of the board as far as water goes. Also where water can do the most damage causing the plywood in the stringer to swell :D
I've taken up troll hunting just for fun, instead of a rifle I'll just use a pun! 冲浪爷爷

Nim,
it's an easy fix. Scuff the area, mix resin & epoxy, and apply glass. Don't use glass any heavier than 4 ounce. Then sand smooth with progressively finer paper.
