Question on repairs (paint lifting)

Postby UleeDawey » Thu Jan 02, 2014 12:34 am

Bought a board second hand from a friend of a friend of a friend... and it's got some damage (which I knew before buying). I'm just wondering what you suggest is the best way to repair/prevent it spreading.

Otherwise it is in pretty good condition.

Thanks!

Hello UleeDawey,
Well you could get some acrylic clear spray paint and try a little on a small area to see how your current paint reacts. If it does not have a bad reaction with your current paint job, then lightly sand the area to be sprayed. Then pray a few light coats of the acrylic lacquer on your board. The acrylic lacquer will help protect the paint job of your board by giving it an extra layer of protection.
Hope that helps!
