Travel bag.

Postby pandarturo » Fri Jul 26, 2013 4:33 pm

Okay so in going to be moving away from my tropical paradise to southern California,I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for travel board bags. I'm planning to keep my board and have another one shaped prior to me leaving. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Do you mean padded soft bags or hard case bags? If the former, I have an Ocean and Earth 'aircon' bag which is pretty strong; but most manufacturers make a similar version - look for 600D Polyester and 10mm padding, almost everyone does them.

Note that these bags weight more than the basic versions (which are usually 5mm padding and lighter weight poly) but obviously stronger and more padding.

There are a couple of threads around on packing boards for travel.

I havent used a hard case or a wheeled bag

Have you ever traveled to another country or over an ocean with them by any chance? I was looking at the ocean and earth bags just I wanted something that would stand a trip from Hawaii to the mainland maybe double as a day bag?
