New surfer and need help

I'm a new surfer and bought a 7'6 Ellington brand new. I'm doing really good but don't know anything about repairs. My board has scratches and a couple of dings in the polish but when I run my finger over it you cants feel any of them. So I would like to know if they new to be fixed. I will post pictures later. If you're not catching anything on your mail you should be fine. If you're riding an epoxy sandwich board you'll definitely know when you need a repair. As for a regular pu board if you see a visible crack and it catches your nail sand it down until it's smooth.then glass and resin over it
