my board...is it to small? help?

Postby ungerlj87 » Thu Apr 25, 2013 6:23 pm

been on a long board about a year, try to get out a few times a week, not always possible on the east coast though. wanna get to a short board I'm not a great surfer or anything surfer but I ride for nitro snowboards, ive riden a 6'4" and a 6'6" egg. traded a guitar for a board. too good of a deal to pass up but idk if it will work for my I'm 5'11" 180. the board is a Xanado M. Rockhold model brand new never riden, but its 6 foot x 20 x 2 1/8. and there lies my problem. its the nicest board ive ever held in my hands. i love it but i dont think ill ever be able to ride something that small. i could keep it for later and buy a 6'8 egg for now. or put it on consignment at my local shop if its never gonna work for me and get the egg that way or just keep the the xanado and try to see if i can make it work?

That board is something to aim for , buy the egg and get your skills up and eventually your board size down. The Xanadu is at the bottom of your friendly range the more skilled you get the more likely it is you will bea able to use it, you could certainly aspire to that length with more volume as another option.
MY thoughts on good deals is they are only good if they work for you
I've taken up troll hunting just for fun, instead of a rifle I'll just use a pun! 冲浪爷爷
