Indo Boards..

Postby sandy » Tue Aug 28, 2012 1:22 pm

So second question of the day. . . Definately too quiet in the office!

Does anyone have any thoughts on Indo boards and such like products?

Been hearing a bit about them but I'm a bit sceptical. Perhaps they're just a gimmicky way for me to waste my cash . . or do they actually work?

I don't have what you'd call consistent surf near me so if they did work I wouln't mind buying one (or maybe actually make one for significantly less).

Any thoughts on these or simmilar products would be great to hear.

Cheers,

Sandy

Indoboards are pretty good for balance, and for exercise too.
No, they're not surfing, but they do (in completely non-scientific subjective terms) make you more fluid, which can only be a good thing.

As DBBB says, they are good as an exercise aid eg: - https://surfing-waves.com/surf-fitne ... ess-up.htm - which will indirectly help improve your surfing.

There are a number of topics on the subject which offer a little more information

and of course you can get an indo board here :-D

If you've not seen it already, take a look at how to make a balance board (put together by an old forum member K Mac)
