New surfboard help

Hey guys, for starters, I'm 16
6'1 175lbs

I've surfed a becker 9'0 down at san onofre for quite some time but am not about to take that big guy to Salt Creek where I like to go. I've been doing watersport type stuff all my life.. Longboarding, bodyboarding, diving. I'm good in the water and very athletic. I've been looking for a shorter type board that will be harder for me to get back into but will allow me to further my abilities once I get better. If any of you surf salt creek or are familiar with the types of waves and wave height I'll be dealing with coupled with my water and surf experience and are nice enough to suggest a board for me so I can fit it in my dang car and also get back into surfing a little more I'd love to hear it!

*I'll be surfing it 3 times a week minimum for the next 12 months
