Billabong SG5

Postby surf-chin12 » Sat Oct 15, 2011 8:59 pm

Hi,

I'm about to buy a new wetsuit for winter and have been looking at the 6/5/4 Billabong SG5 and was wondering if anyone know's of any durability issues with it?

Some of my friends reckon Billabong wetsuits fall apart easily and won't last a full winter, but thought i would ask on here to get a wider range of opinions? :)

Hi surf-chin12, welcome to Surfing Waves!

If Billabong suits wouldn't last a winter, they wouldn't shift so many. In my experience, Billabong are a quality manufacturer and their suits are good quality.
6mm suit eh, where are you surfing in that?

Cool thanks for that. Was kind of my thought's on it aswell but thought i would ask about and see what other people's opinions were :)

I'm from Scotland where winter gets real cold, last winter there was days where i was surfing when it was like -15C so need a good warm suit that will last all winter. We don't have any surf shops anywhere near where i live either so unable to get a good look at a suit before buying it which is why i like to ask about to make sure i get the best wetsuit possible.
