Does this need a repaire???

Postby Johno » Mon Jun 08, 2009 8:55 am

I may be over reacting but on friday i did one of them dumb fxxk things! tightened down the straps on my long board to much. the metal buckle pressed in and i stoped when i heard that crack nose of the resin. (poly board)

The below pitchers are quite poor, but the resin has a couple of fine cracks, does this need a repaire????????

cheers Johno

hi jonno....dosent LOOK to bad...give it a squezze and if it sounds like its cracking then it could do with a repair.had something similar happen to my surf kiteboard when it blew down the beach..i guess its the glass releasing from the paint.or do the "suck it test" any worries, then drop it over and ill sort it.ive loads of glass/resin. ive been doing quite a few repairs latlley with the kiters ripping fins out and so on
