Epoxy XTR vs. Fiberglass?

Postby b123 » Thu May 14, 2009 5:08 pm

Hey,

Tried out my friend's epoxy xtr board yesterday and kind of liked it. Can you explain the differences between epoxy xtr and fiberglass and which you prefer? Also, i take it epoxy xtr is related to normal epoxy surftech-like boards? It seems completely different.

Epoxy tend to be lighter and stiffer.

Which means more responsive and quicker/floatier, but less 'suspension' and momentum through sections.
