I'm Kaylee,
and first I want to say that I think the forum is awesome and that I havn't found on as awesome, with as many people willing to answer and help other newbies along! Thanks so much everyone! answers are immensely appreciated :D

I live in central Florida so the waves are smaller and I am looking to buy my first board...I KNOW  everyone asks this question, but based on allll my research I am just a little caught between a few options.
I am barely 5'2", 122 lbs and athletic and want to order a board online ASAP. I have tried surfing with some friends and am definetely in for the long haul...so I want to buy a starter board that I can keep in my quiver and eventually advance and get a custom shaped. (Eventually I want to ride a short)
I plan on taking a few local lessons this month to get me standing up and hopefully ready to get out on my OwN board. PleAse help me PICK before my brain explodes  :

I am caught between an ITN Softboard, a funboard by Blue, or a 7s Superfish....and they all look good to me.
Quick Stats
I am looking at the 5'10" Fish softboard from ITN, but a 7 ft model is also available...WHAt will work for my weight and height??? can i go 5'10" bc it's a softie?
here's the link: https://surfing-waves.com/shop/itemSWins0607fis.htm
The Blue funboards had good reviews, but idk...if this is best, What size???
the BLUE link: http://www.globalsurfindustries.com/products/blueFunboards.php
and the 7s superfish looks awesome...someone said the 5'9" model would fit me and that these perform well in smaller waves...but will this board work for my learning/progressing stage? and again, size?
7s superfish link: http://www.globalsurfindustries.com/products/7SSuperFish.php

I get to the beach EVERY WEEKEND, and even make a few weekdays so I will be spending a lot of time in the water...
Someone just tell me which one to buy so I can drop the hesistancy, I am so ready to get out there and put in the practice! I appreciate your answers SO much. Until, Kaylee

I got the impression that those soft INT boards were for surfing blackball spots. Kind of nice to own one, but maybe not as a primary board. To be honest I rarely surf my fish or funboards these days. If waves are nearly unsurfable I'll take out a 5'2" fish. For an all around board that you want to keep in your quiver why not go for a more traditional shortboard shape between 6'2 - 6'4. Why buying a board online? Why not buy from a local surf shop or better yet, a used board? I'm just thinking about how much abuse my first few boards took. If I HAD to choose from the 3 boards for a starter board I guess I would pick the funboard in a 6'6 or thereabouts, but only because if the ultimate goal is to shortboard a fish might be a more difficult transition (although I like having a couple fish in my quiver).

Ideal starting length?

Stand back straight and put your arm straight up in the air. You fingertips should just touch the nose.

I'm an inch taller and about 2-4 lbs heavier. Bigger boards are a little harder for us chicks to manage since we tend to be lighter and smaller than the guys. A fairly flat rocker should help provide stability to a new surfer. You can still pack a bunch of volume into a board via width and thickness without going too long. I've found boards in the 7' range and larger difficult to duckdive. My surfboards all felt too big until about 6'3. This is when I started to feel like I was controlling my board rather than the other way around.

BTW, the INT 4'11 is actually the blackball beater. Would love to test drive that board one day. Looks fun.
