Mayb it's because when u made your acount up you didn't click the little box to accept having your signature at the end of your post's?
Just a guess =)

I think the discussion last time this came up was that they end up just taking up room on the forum and making it a mile to scroll through a post.

i know this is an old post, but wouldn't it be a compromise if we allowed signatures but only for your name? that way we could maybe know each other by first name on here? making it a bit more personal?

If people want a signature - most people on here cheat and use the location bit in their profile.
<---------------
its a good compromise cos you can write what you like, but you cant add pictures and stuff which just slows everything down.

What about limiting the size of sigs, and if people want pics, limit the size to the same size (or maby a little bit bigger) as the avatar.

^^yeah but pictures everywhere makes the forum ugly.
I think a simple one-liner of text would be cool but either way the location spot works too.

I think its fine as it is! No need to change it the location box works fine.

Don't change it!
There's nothing worse than trawling through lines of repetitive text that one person thinks is interesting but no one else does!
If its not important enough to write each time then its not important enough to read!!!
