You can practice by lying flat, straight out on your stomach. Place your hands by your shoulders, board width apart. In one flowing movement 'snap' up to a crouched standing position as quickly as you can


I got this from the SW instruction bit.. lesson 4, I think.

Isnt physically impossible to pop up with your hands by your shoulders??? They should be like, by your ribs instead?

I have changed this slightly and it now reads 'Place your hands up by your chest (as if you were doing a press-up), board width apart'
I must do a picture / video of this to show how its done - a picture is worth 1000 words and all that.

maybe at the next forum meet we could get the shots done for you!!

Here's wishkid demonstrating how to paddle....cheezee shows us how to sit on the board....phil does a pop up....etc???
