Surfing Waves

Is anyone in need of somewhere to store photos that they want to be stored on the forum? Now that the image file upload has been mastered this feature can be provided. Let me know if anyone is interested and I'll go ahead and get it done.

how do you do the image upload SP ? (scuse my crappy computer skills )[/img]

First you have to have the picture on your computer somewhere.


Click on the browse button and then navigate to where the picture is stored on your pc and click the pic. (It has to be jpg/jpeg file)
You'll see the box will out with the filepath.
Next click submit and go from there. You'll get a page which asks for some details - Location / Description / Your Name. Submit those details and your pic and details are saved.
I then get sent an email saying that a picture is there for review, I take a look and if all is ok the picture makes it onto the site.


If anyone thinks that an explaination is needed on how to upload pages from initial upload page then let me know and I will add some.

wait one question though, does a person ask where the photo can go?? like onto the forums or like actual website in picture section?

At the moment the pics go straight onto the surf photo section of the main site (or that's what's supposed to happen if anyone would ever post one )
If there is an interest I could do it the same sort of thing for forum members where they could post pictures that they want to be included in the forum, as mentioned above.

yeah i think that would be cool if you could do that, but if its too much trouble then heyyy its up to you. but i appreciate this whole website it gets better each time i come on laterrr skaterrrs
