very nice board.

The first time I saw a guy riding a long board carving these wicked long slow turns and just gliding along, and I realised that is what surfing is all about, he was on a 9.1. triple stringer made in Fuerteventura, by a company called forty feet I think. I chatted to him in very bad spanish and hit him with about 2 million questions about how he surfed etc etc

Just bought a new long board, but no stringers, got an epoxy flexlite.
I love the old skool single fin stuff so cool.

I've had my share of high performance longboards, but you always give up something with them. Usually, they have a lot of concave in the nose, channels or V in the tail and different tail configurations like pin, diamond or squash. The problem with those features is they take away from the ease of catching waves.

The main reason I'm so crazy about this board is it can be ridden on the nose, middle or tail. Plus it catches waves so easy there is no drama unless it's head high or more. JMHO

Rode mine today for only the second time. I'm so stoked at how easy it is to catch waves on it. Got some shoulder height stuff and dropped in from the rail, and even the drop in is mellow, and it turns SO nice. Can't wait for my next session. I think I should have started on a long baord, but then maybe I wouldn't appreciate just how good it is. Lovin it!!

Wow, that are some nice boards.

I would love to get a tri stringer some time soon. A mate of mine surfs one and he catches waves way back with it. :D
