What are pro's and cons to fin setup? If you have a 2+1 setup and decide to single fin it, don't the crevice's (sp/grammar) of the absent side fins effect performance to some degree? Why don't you see many FCS side fins on longboards? What's the best side fin? My G/F uses O'Fishl (sp) but they seem pretty cheap... However I do like the idea that there aren't any screws involved... Anyone had any trouble with this setup? How do you remove an FCS with a stripped (Head, not thread) screw?

me again...

What are the pro's/con's regargind single fin vs. the tri fin, or 2+1 setup?

Single fin = carving turns, more straight line speed, more stability.

Tri fin = quicker turns, less straight line speed, more turning speed/force, less stability.

Its down to riding style and choice realy.

Personally, I believe it's more the skill of the rider than the number of fins you use or do not use.

mmm i agree in prinicable but i find a single fin set-up gives a different ride to a tri fin. Suppose the best way is to test em out.

Side note - any body living in SD will have a chance as the surf companies are demoing boards and suits throughout june.
