lol that funny, but partely true cas most fat surfers ride longboards, but that makes people think that all longboarder anre fat poeple who stand there(no afence if anyones fat) but were not

any shortborder can get on longboard and be surfing from the first wave, cause it's way easier...
How many longboarders can jump straight onto a shortboard & be surfing from the first wave?

Whats the problem with people being different how boring would it be if we all rode the exact same board ,the exact same way and we"d all been surfing for the same period of time.
I"ve never really understood the argument with longboarders ,shortboarders and boogers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! although I"m all for slagging goatboaters.

I don't think that is entirly true...
Paddling a longboard maybe a bit easier, but longboarding is not neccessesarily as easy as a lot of people try to make it out to be. I think a good bit of shortboarders timing would be off. You've got a lot heavier board that you need to control. You need to start maneuvers halfway through the last one. Walking the board takes skill.

Oh yeah, I ride both short and long, and I do believe that riding a longboard makes you a better shortboarder.

its harder for longboarders to do big tricks, yet shortboarders get all the press for doing big tricks, which the good longboarders can also do, it makes no sense

Exactly. .. . making surfing difficult is not smart, therefore longboarders are smarter.

I see that the frigging council which you work for have started writing parking tickets at the Main Beach,I suppose that they need the money looks like no more 3 hour sessions at the Main for those who drive vehicles there. Any idea how nice the Mount was 30 years ago before you bastards started screwing it up? . . . .. no you don't because you are a recent blow in. When are they going to remove the failed Mount reef project ( the Mount 'Breef' everyone is calling it) ? I see also that the new boardwalk which the council installed to replace the grass is now a giant rat city, and now my children find rat traps with poisonous bait lying around when they go to the beach. . . . a new innovation I am sure A good Tsunami is what the Mount needs to knock over all the polystyrene fake Spanish buildings and clear the place out, sending all the blow ins back to auckland so the locals can have it back. As for you, I hope that you get a really nice house in raglan so you can surf your fish there .

I love surfing from Longboards to Shortboards, and its not about arguing whats better because at the end of the day its not what you ride, its how you ride it!

It would be nice to be able to do both longboarding and shortboarding - it all makes you a better surfer!

It's a lovely day here, there's 1-2 foot of long-period perfection rolling in, crisp gentle offshores blowing I've finished a big fat snack & cold drink...now I'm out for my third surf of the day.
