I went to the beach today with my 10 footer, and it was flat. I came back home discouraged. And now I have to go to work. Working 6PM to 2AM is perfect for surfing, when theres surf.

On a good note. I only have to work today, and tomorrow, and then I'm off for ten days. I know waves will come for my vacation.

How that? I posted a longboard topic.

I went to beach yesterday after work with my 9'8".
When I got there it was about knee to waist, but it was 5:00pm and I have to wait until 5:30pm when the lifeguards leave (stupid city surfing regulations). So, I decided to check another spot. While I'm watching that spot the wind picks up heavy outta the SSE (that's bad). Turned it all to @#$%. :(

I too left discouraged...and I can't go today either (family stuff). Hopefully the weekend will work out...

Also, it's about to get uber crowded for the 4th of July week. :x

(How's that for random stuff?)

I actually use morningstiffy as a screen name on another surfing forum.

Morning wood sucks, I hate having to put one hand on the back wall, so I can lean over for proper aiming.

Juvenile mistake! You need to take a few steps back and go for the basketball shot!
