Surfing Waves

Had a bit of fun last week. Was surfing one of my local breaks and nose rode into a closeout section. As I surfaced the nose of my board smacked me in the face just below my left nostril and gave me a second mouth albeit smaller than my big one. A bit of plastic surgery and I was back into it two days later. You can see by the pix it doesn't take huge waves to injure yourself so be careful out there and stay safe.

Yeah pretty harsh at the time. But a sympathetic doctor and oxycodone fixes all. Got the stitches out the other day and it's healed really well. Now I know why plastic surgeons get payed what they do.
