None of what you are suggesting will work they will barely float be hard to paddle and the bearings and trucks will rust and seize up!
We are advising you on long surf boards, which were long board before any skate board was invented

Cruising
Carving
Downhilling
Free Ride
Freestyle
Dancing ( those are cool )

Just so you know we are generally talking about long surfboards, we occasionally talk about various skate boards as helpful trainers for surfing
