I have a problem with winter suits 6/5 or 6/4.

Basically all suits I have tried are very quickly destroyed below the knees, due to my longboard kneepaddling. Most brands I have used through the years, O´neill Rip Curl Vissla etc. only have knee patches made for shortboard and not for longboard knots below the knee.

I don´t know if any of you guys have the same problem? I am 190/6.2 tall and perhaps I have long thighs which pulls the suit up?

I don't have any problems with any of my wetsuit at the knee patches. Mine usually starts to break between my chest and armpit. I'm also unable to knee paddle so most likely why I don't have the same problem as you. I also rather it break at the knee level than my chest/armpit.

Probably worth trying some slip on knee pads eg https://scubadiving.com.au/products/ome ... 4354085967

Whether you can get away with just slipping them on or whether you need to glue them in place Im not sure. If you do glue them, use only a small amount of glue as it will stiffen up the knee flexibility
