hey yall-

i bought an old surfboard(single-fin) from my uncle a couple of years back for five bucks. it was just sitting in a basement, so i figured i could put it to use. after stripping off the wax, i found it to say "OCEANSIDE" with script writing that appears to say "Javelyn"

heres the link to the board pic:

the logos:

the shaper signature:

have yall heard of the brand, shaper, model, or even when this board could have been made?

thanks,
tommy

Oceanside these days is known in the surf world as the home of Takayama surfboards. Now I am sure you do not have a Takayama of any description there but nevertheless it looks like it would be a lovely board with a bit of care and attention spent.

I had one of those when I was a kid in Hollywood, Florida.
Mine was white with yellow rails and a strange shaped skeg.
