when you guys longboard do you go sideways, like in tube or across the wave, or just straight towards the shore?

Longboards are the original surfboard, on a classic style board you can carve a wave just like on a shortboard, the only difference is that the turns are longer and smoother.
You can ride tubes, pull floaters etc.
On a progressive longboard, you can do almost any of the tricks you do on a shortboard, it's a bit different, but just as cool.
Check out Joel Tudor on the internet - he'll show you what you can do on a longboard!!

NEVER (unless it's super small & mushy) do u point a longboard straight @ the shore (well not never) but yeah man u go sideways & do whatever u feel u want to do. Like the NIKE slogan "Just Do It". That sums it up.
