Hello there,

I'm relatively inexperienced longboarder living in London with two days off work this week - Thursday and Friday - and looking at MSW the conditions around Saunton and Fistral, the two spots I know, don't look great. That said, I could be reading MSW incorrectly.

Any suggestions?

So what are you reading and understanding?

I read small in old money, 1 to 2 ft, most often light offshore winds, , what are the banks like?
Could be a runner or two but wallowland for shortboards
Could be light fun!
But smaller than today’s webcam
Forecasts that far ahead can miss something and you might too if you are not on the beach!

so that's 28th 29th June?
Forecast is slim pickings for those 2 days, it's pretty small.
BUT...
It's supposed to be 1-2ft today and I've just been down for a look at Widemouth Bay, Bude, there are one or two boards out there and you will snaffle the odd clean 2 [just about!] footer on a longboard.

The further south you go, you'll probably have a nads more , so Fistral is probably the best bet . If you can hang around till Sat eve , all day Sunday, they are going up to 2-3ft. [I wouldn't bother with Saunton for Thurs Fri]
It's a helluva long way to go for that forecast. Is it worth it??....It's ALWAYS worth it!!
